
• The Production
Rhythm, Life and Roots is a Psychotic based production that will communicate their contribution in celebrating the Abolition of Slavery. This 90 minute performance will take the audience on a journey, as we show our interpretation of Black Dance and its origins though to the present day. Not only does this production boast many different dance forms, dramatic content and skill, filming plays a crucial part in enhancing and complimenting the overall piece.
With the first showing scheduled at our home Chats Palace, this show is not to be missed and shouldn’t be, with a local tour. So keep a lookout 4 dates at a theatre near YOU!!!
• The Jack Petchey Achievement Scheme
2007 was the year Psychotic were granted a place on the Jack Petchey Achievement Scheme. This meant that ANY Psychotic member could be nominated for an Award by their fellow dancers, youth workers, tutors or volunteers actively involved with Psychotic for ANY reason what so ever. In addition to this, leaders, support workers and any other adult(s) can also be receive an award for their by way of the same method. We have really benefited from the scheme, it has allowed us to focus on enjoying our work and making the best of it in order to WOW our Audiences.
